This is the most-chosen PRO kit, and the size where the question is sharpest: take the PRO version now, or start with the standard kit and add a controller later?

Upgrading later is not possible, and that is the heart of the choice

Upgrading sounds like the safe route: the cheaper kit first, a controller later once you find you want one. Between these two kits that does not work, and it is worth knowing why before you choose.

The fan in the standard kit is a CLOUDLINE LITE. It has no UIS port, and that is the connector a smart controller uses to talk to a device. Without it there is nothing to connect a controller to: you cannot add one, not with an adapter and not with a cable.

To get automatic control from that kit you buy a new fan as well as a controller. The old fan is left over, usable only with its own dial.

From this kit everything stays open. The fan is a CLOUDLINE PRO with a UIS port, so you can add devices later, or replace the controller without touching the fan.

So the choice is not deferring against buying now, it is choosing which platform you want. If you already know you will want automatic control within a year, this kit is cheaper than the standard kit plus a new fan plus a controller. If a fixed speed will do, the standard kit is the more honest buy.

Eight devices: what that room is for

The Controller AI+ in this kit drives eight devices directly, expandable to thirty-two with splitter hubs. With one fan in the box that looks excessive, but it is exactly where most setups grow to.

A common order: extraction first, then a circulation fan for the still air low down, then a humidifier or dehumidifier once your climate asks for correction, and at some point the lighting through a UIS adapter so light schedule and climate sit in one system.

Each port is programmed separately, so extraction can respond to temperature while your humidifier drives on moisture and your light runs on the clock. If you would rather set everything together, the shared port mode is there for that.

The included probe reads temperature, humidity and VPD, and that is the basis everything else reacts to. One probe at canopy height is therefore the most important mounting decision in the whole setup.

Can I bring the standard kit up to this level later?
Only by replacing the fan. The LITE fan in that kit has no UIS port, so there is nothing to connect a controller to.

Which controller is included?
The Controller AI+, with eight ports. The separate CLOUDLINE Pro T6 comes with the Controller 69 Pro, which has four.

Is the fan the same as the separate CLOUDLINE Pro T6?
The fan is. The controller is not, and this kit adds the filter, the ducting and the mounting hardware.

How many devices can I end up connecting?

Will this kit suit a 120 x 120 cm tent?
