The 200 mm PRO kit: a CLOUDLINE PRO fan rated 807 CFM (1371 m³/h) at 39 dBA, the Controller AI+ and its probe, an RC412 carbon filter and 7.62 metres of four-layer ducting.

The largest PRO kit, and the only one where you are almost certain to drive more than one device. The Controller AI+ has eight ports for that, and at this size those are the point rather than a bonus.

Negative pressure: why intake runs lower than extraction

In a space this size you usually want intake as well as extraction. Put extraction on the first port and a second fan as intake on the second, and programme the two separately: extraction higher than intake.

That difference creates negative pressure, and negative pressure decides which way air leaks. As long as you extract more than you bring in, air flows inward through every gap, and everything leaving does so through your carbon filter. Bring in as much as you take out, or more, and it inverts: your setup then pushes unfiltered air out through exactly those gaps, and the rest of the building shares the smell.

You can see it on the tent. Walls bowing slightly inward mean negative pressure. Walls bulging outward mean positive pressure, and then intake has to come down or extraction go up.

Too much negative pressure exists as well. A tent visibly sucked inward is under a strain your zips and seams will not enjoy, and your fan is working against resistance it did not need to overcome. A small difference is enough: start with intake a few levels below extraction and adjust to what you see.

Eight ports in a real grow room

Extraction and intake rarely stay the only two. Circulation fans follow, then a humidifier or dehumidifier, then lighting through a UIS adapter. Eight ports sit on the controller itself, and splitter hubs take that ceiling to thirty-two.

Each port gets its own programme. That matters more than it sounds, because your devices have opposing instructions: extraction should speed up when it gets too humid, while your humidifier should switch off. On one shared programme those two fight each other.

One rule governs the expansion: whatever shares a single port must be of one kind, fans alongside fans. Put a humidifier on a fan port and both end up on the same programme at the same level, which suits neither.

Contents and sizes

  • Fan: CLOUDLINE PRO 200 mm, 30.2 cm long, 23.3 cm high
  • Controller AI+: 14.9 x 8.7 x 2.4 cm, with climate probe
  • Carbon filter: 50.3 cm long, 20.3 cm across
  • Ducting: 7.62 metres, four layers, 20.3 cm across

Frequently asked questions

How do I set up negative pressure?
Run extraction at a higher level than intake. Tent walls bowing slightly inward are the sign it is right.

Is a second fan included for intake?
No, the kit contains one fan. A second is bought separately and connects to a free port.

Is this the same controller as on the T8 fan?
No. This kit carries the Controller AI+ and its eight ports; the fan sold separately ships with the Controller 69 Pro.

Can the controller hang outside the room?
Yes, the probe is on a cable. Hang the probe at canopy height and the controller where you can read it.

Can a humidifier share a port with a fan?
No. Devices sharing a port have to be the same type. Give the humidifier its own port.

Is this size too much for one tent?
For a single 120 x 120 cm tent, yes. This kit is meant for rooms or for several tents on one extraction line.
