A 1000 W ceramic heater for grow spaces, with ten true heat levels, a fresh-air mode and two 100 mm duct ports for an open or closed air loop.
Ten levels, not on and off
Most heaters regulate one way: they fire until the target temperature is reached and then stop. The result is a sawtooth, with your space alternately too warm and too cool.
The S7 works differently. Individual PTC plates are driven with pulse-width modulation, giving ten true power levels rather than ten switching moments. On a low setting the unit gives off a little heat continuously, instead of alternating between plenty and none.
That is exactly what you want in a tent, where the volume is small and a fierce burst of heat pushes the temperature up ten degrees at once.
An air intake in summer
Besides heating, the S7 has a fresh-air mode, in which it only draws air without using the heating element.
That keeps it from being a tool that sits waiting for winter eight months a year. In the shoulder seasons you pull cooler air in with it, and when the cold arrives you put the same ducting on heating.
Open or closed loop
It carries two 100 mm duct ports, and those two make two arrangements possible.
- Open loop: the unit draws air from outside the tent and blows the heated air in. You refresh the air at the same time.
- Closed loop: intake and outlet both sit inside the tent, so you circulate the same air. That is more economical, because you are not heating cold outside air.
Ducting is not included, so budget for two lengths of 100 mm ducting with your order.
Not with a humidifier in one loop
This is the most important warning and it is easy to miss, precisely because the combination is such an obvious one.
Do not put the S7 in the same closed air loop as a humidifier. Mist entering the unit through the intake duct can damage the heater. So anyone wanting to hold a tent's climate with both a humidifier and a heater has to keep the two apart: do not let the heater draw air from where the mist comes out.
AC Infinity also give a working range of 30 to 65 percent relative humidity. In a tent running at 70 percent this unit does not belong.
Connection and safety
At 1000 W on 230 volts the heater draws roughly 4.3 amps. That is a substantial continuous load.
Connect it straight to an earthed wall socket and use no extension lead or power strip, and do not share that socket with other equipment. This is not excessive caution: a power strip carrying a heater, a light and a fan is one of the usual ways things go wrong in a grow space.
The unit has tip-over protection, overheat protection with automatic restart and a flame-retardant housing. Use it indoors only, in controlled conditions, and not outdoors or in a damp room.
Control
The S7 is the manually operated version: you set the level yourself. Connect it to a compatible AC Infinity UIS controller and you add programming, automation, alerts and app control, letting the heater respond to a climate sensor.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use it together with a humidifier?
In the same room yes, but not in the same closed air loop. Mist entering through the intake can damage the heater.
How much current does it draw?
Roughly 4.3 amps at 230 volts. Connect it straight to an earthed socket, without an extension lead or power strip.
Is ducting included?
No. Budget for two lengths of 100 mm ducting, depending on whether you build an open or a closed loop.
What is the difference between ten levels and simply on and off?
With ten true levels the unit gives off less heat continuously. On and off makes the temperature rise and fall.
Can I have it switch automatically?
Yes, through a compatible AC Infinity UIS controller. On its own it runs manually.
