Where a spray beats a duct unit

We sell the same oil in a form that hangs in your ducting. That one is better as soon as there is a system, since it works continuously and asks nothing of you. But there are situations where it is the wrong choice.

The clearest is a room with no mechanical ventilation. A bedroom, a storeroom, a hobby room, a loft: there is no duct to hang anything in, so a duct unit is out.

The second is occasional or changing use. A spray you use when you need it and not otherwise, whereas a unit in the duct releases for sixty days straight whether you are in the room or not.

The third is that with a spray you choose where the scent ends up. With a duct unit the scent goes where the air goes, which is the whole run, including past rooms where you do not need it.

If you do have extraction and want the space around it fresh, the combination makes sense: the unit in the duct and a bottle for the rooms beside it.
