Handling concentrated fragrance oil

This is a concentrated product rather than a ready-made air freshener. A few practical points avoid the usual trouble.

Store out of reach of children, as with any concentrated household product, and not in plain view on a worktop where it might be mistaken for something else.

Be cautious in rooms with pets. Concentrated essential oils are not tolerated equally well by all animals, and cats are more sensitive to them than dogs. Do not spray in a closed room an animal cannot leave, and let the room air afterwards.

Keep it out of eyes, and off skin undiluted. On contact, rinse thoroughly with water.

Store the bottle closed, cool and out of direct sunlight. Heat and light drive fragrance compounds off, and a bottle standing months in the sun smells weaker than it should. Keep it away from heat sources and open flame.

Stored that way an opened bottle stays usable for a long time. If the scent weakens while the bottle is still full, that is nearly always storage rather than a fault in the product.
