Airfan Odor connect Ø 125 MM

The Odor-Connect is a scent diffuser you fit into a 125 mm duct. A bottle of fragrance oil with an absorb stick screws into the connector, and the passing air carries the scent into your system.

Where this belongs in your system, and where it does not

This unit adds scent to air that is already moving. It removes nothing from that air. That distinction decides where it goes, and it is why the order matters.

In a grow set-up your carbon filter does the actual work: it binds odour molecules to activated carbon and takes them out of the airflow. The Odor-Connect comes after it, on the outlet side of your fan or at the end of the duct. You use it to give the outgoing air a fresh scent, not to replace the filter.

Fit it before the filter and the carbon will strip your fragrance oil out along with everything else, using your filter up faster for nothing.

Outside a grow set-up it is different: in a plant room, a changing room or a workshop with mechanical ventilation there is often no filter at all, and then this unit is the only thing treating the air.

Frequently asked questions

Does this replace a carbon filter?
No. A filter takes odour away; this adds scent. They do different jobs and cannot substitute for each other.

Yes. With no air passing the stick, almost no scent is released.
