Heavier 150 mm version delivering 760 m³/h free air, at 105 W and 0.5 A.
The RK 150L has the same flange as the plain RK 150 and moves over one and a half times as much air through it. The question is not whether that is nice, but whether you need it.
What the L costs you
Against those extra 290 m³/h sits a motor drawing 105 W instead of 70, and 0.5 A instead of 0.3. That is fifty percent more power for sixty-two percent more air, so per cubic metre this model is the better deal. But only if you actually use those cubic metres.
Run it permanently turned down to a third of its capability and the advantage disappears. A motor working far below its design point is no more efficient than a smaller one working at its point, and you have paid for it.
The opposite mistake costs more. A fan that has to run wide open every day just to keep up has no reserve left when the filter loads up, and that happens with every running hour. So choose for what you need with a clogged filter, not with a fresh one.
Turning it down is allowed here
Can states for the RK range that a speed controller is permitted: you regulate by voltage or by frequency. That effectively makes this model two fans, since turned down it sits somewhere near the plain 150 and opened up it reaches its 760.
Note that this is not a given across this brand. The versions with a built-in speed switch work differently. Anyone expanding later should check it model by model.

Frequently asked questions
How do I choose between the RK 150 and this one?
Work out what you need and add room for a filter that loads up over the cycle. If you land above 400, this is the model.
Which filter belongs with it?
Can names the CAN-Lite 800 and the CAN 350 or 366 BFT. Clearly heavier, then, than the filter for the plain 150.
Does it get quieter if I turn it down?
Yes, and by more than you would expect, because most of the noise comes from moving air rather than from the motor.
Will it fit my existing 150 mm ducting?
Yes, the flange is the same as on the plain RK 150.
