Two ladders to the same point

Both models manage 460 m³/h on their highest setting. Below that they diverge: this one does 360, 390 and 430, while the 150 S does 355, 390 and 420. Small differences, but they show the speeds are not the product of a calculation.

Can sets each speed per model at the factory, at the point where that particular fan runs most efficiently. That is why the steps are unevenly spaced, and why they differ between two models that match at the top.

One practical consequence counts: when comparing, look at the setting you will actually run. If it lives on speed 2 day in day out, these two fans are all but identical for you. Spend more time on speed 3 and this model gives you ten cubic metres per hour more.

Upkeep

The bearings are ball bearings designed for a long life and needing no re-greasing. There is no maintenance schedule attached to this device.

What does matter is dust. A layer on the blades changes the shape of the impeller and costs delivery at every setting, so a look between two cycles is worth the trouble. Regulation stays on the knob, since an external controller is not permitted on this range.
