The RK 200 is where this range ends. Anyone needing more does not arrive at a bigger RK but at a different kind of fan, and that is a deliberate limit on the manufacturer's part.

Where the plastic range stops

Above this point Can moves to diagonal fans in metal housings, where an impeller and a stator work together to send air straight and evenly down the duct. Those are more efficient and quieter against high back pressure, but also dearer and heavier.

That makes the RK 200 the cheapest way to reach a good eight hundred cubic metres per hour, as long as your system stays simple. With short runs, few bends and one filter, this fan is exactly enough. Start stacking things up, so long runs, several bends, a silencer and a filter at once, and a diagonal fan handles that back pressure better.

Note too that the step from the 160L to this model is small: 780 against 820 m³/h. What you are mainly buying here is the wider connection rather than much more air.

Hanging and supporting it

At 3.2 kg this is not a heavy device, but it rarely hangs alone. Reckon on the whole assembly: the fan, 200 mm ducting and a carbon filter matched to this airflow easily come to several times that between them, and all of it often hangs from the same frame.

So support the filter separately rather than letting it hang off the fan's flange. A length of ducting between the two also absorbs vibration that would otherwise travel through the housing into the frame.
