The CAN 2600 PL is the smallest carbon filter we stock from the Can-Original range. It handles 156 m³/h in practice, measures 45 cm long and 14.5 cm across the housing. The body is plastic, the filter weighs 2.8 kg, and the connecting flange is chosen separately in 100 or 125 mm.
What room does 156 m³/h suit?
An odour filter is chosen on volume, not on floor area. Multiply the length, width and height of your space and work to roughly twenty five air changes per hour. At that rate heat does not build and the carbon is offered enough air to make a difference.
At 156 m³/h that takes you to around 6 m³ of space. A cabinet of 150 by 150 by 200 cm lands exactly there. A cabinet of 120 by 120 by 200 cm measures 2.9 m³ and gets well over fifty changes an hour from this filter, so there is margin to spare. Above 6 m³, the CAN 9000 PL is the next step in the same housing.
Two things quietly pull that figure down. A long duct run with bends costs pressure, and a filter loading up with dust costs more on top. So do not calculate it to the cubic metre.
Fan and ducting
Can's own guidance puts a 100 mm inline fan of about 200 m³/h behind this filter. That ratio is deliberate: a filter slows the air, so the fan has to sit above the practical capacity for those 156 m³/h to actually arrive. If you are on 125 mm ducting, take the 125 flange rather than a reducer, because every transition costs pressure again.
The flange is not included
No flange ships with this model. You pick 100 or 125 mm yourself and clamp it into the opening. With us you order it in the same step, so you are never left without a connection.

Frequently asked questions
Is the flange included?
No. You choose it separately in 100 or 125 mm. Without a flange no ducting will attach to the filter.
Can it hang horizontally?
Yes, upright and horizontal both work. At 2.8 kg the weight is not a concern anywhere on this model.
How long does it last?
Can works to a minimum of thirty months across the Can-Original range in normal use. Air above 70 percent humidity and heavy dust shorten that.
Why are there two capacities?
The technical figure is the most that can pass through; the practical one is where the carbon still does its job. Choose your fan against the practical figure.
