The 375 BFT is the second heaviest in the Can-Original range: 75 cm long, 40 cm across, 39 kg with 25 kg of carbon inside, and 1000 m³/h in practice. The flange is 250 mm. We do not ship this filter; it is collected from the shop.
Seventy percent and eighty degrees are working limits
Can states two limits across the range: a maximum of 70 percent humidity and a maximum of 80 °C. They are not fine print, and on a filter this size the humidity one is the most expensive mistake available.
Water and odour compete for the same sites. Activated carbon binds water molecules just as readily as odour molecules, and in humid air there is incomparably more water. Above seventy percent the bed loads up with moisture and the pores are occupied before odour can reach them. The filter is not broken then, only occupied, and it smells as though it is worn out.
With twenty five kilos of carbon it also takes a long time to dry out after a wet spell, because the air now has to travel right through it. So in a damp room keep the fan running rather than switching it off, and never put this filter in a drying room where humidity is deliberately held high.
The 80 °C limit is one you will practically never reach in a grow room, but it does explain why the housing and the mesh are steel.
The fan for it
Of the fans Can names for this model we carry the Max-Fan Pro 200 at 1218 m³/h. That sits above the practical 1000 and up against the technical 1200, so you run it on a lower setting here and keep reserve for when resistance climbs.

Frequently asked questions
Why do you not ship this filter?
At 39 kg it falls outside what PostNL and DHL accept as a parcel, so collection is the only way we hand it over.
What if my room goes above 70 percent now and then?
Short peaks are survivable. Persistently humid air costs capacity that does not come back.
Can I use it in a drying room?
Better not. Humidity is deliberately held high there, and that is exactly the condition in which this filter wastes its carbon.
What is the difference from the 100 BFT?
The same 40 cm body, but 25 cm longer and 8 kg more carbon, good for 1400 rather than 1000 m³/h.
