The Fertraso Pro Deluxe stand fan has a 45 cm blade set on a pedestal, with a 90 W motor, three speeds and a 90 degree swing. It is operated with a rotary knob.
A stand fan moves air at crop height
The difference from a floor model is not the wattage but the height the air leaves from. A fan on a pedestal blows at roughly the height your crop stands at, and that is exactly the layer you want moving.
That movement does two things at once. It breaks up the film of still air that clings directly to the leaf, so transpiration and gas exchange carry on rather than stalling. And it stops a warm, humid pocket forming among the plants, which is where mould problems start.
Portable, and that is the second reason
This fan stands free. You can move it when the layout changes, carry it to another room, or set it aside while you work. A wall model does its job better in one fixed spot; this one is the choice when that spot is not settled yet, or when one fan serves several rooms.
The cage tilts vertically, so you can also aim the airflow up to pick up the warm layer under the ceiling, or down across the floor.

Frequently asked questions
Standing or floor?
Standing blows at crop height, which is the layer you want moving. A floor model works below the crop, around the pots.
Can it run continuously?
Yes. Put it on a low setting for steady, gentle circulation rather than short and hard.
Is there anything to mount?
No. It stands on its own base and can be moved as it is.
How should I aim it?
Not straight and constantly at the same leaf. Let it swing, or aim it along the crop rather than into it.
