A 125 mm inline fan with a built-in temperature controller and a range from 90 to 420 m³/h. With a Swiss MES motor and an external digital sensor on a four metre lead.
What the bottom of that range is for
The striking figure here is not the 420 but the 90. Running that low is where a regulated fan proves its worth, and it is the setting it sits at most of the time.
During the dark period there is barely any heat to remove. Even so the extraction must not stop: moisture has to leave, fresh air has to enter, and your carbon filter only works while air passes through it. What you want is a low continuous flow, and 90 m³/h is exactly that.
Compare a fan that can only be on or off. It switches off when things are cool enough, and humidity in a closed tent then climbs within an hour towards the point where mould starts. Then it kicks in, blows the excess out, and repeats all night.
At its lowest setting the fan is also barely audible, which at night often matters more than during the day.
Put the supplied sensor at plant height rather than beside the fan, or you measure your own exhaust. The four metre lead gives ample slack for that.
