Light enough to hang in the line itself

Seven hundred grams sounds like an aside, but it decides how you can mount this fan, and that saves more work than the capacity does.

A heavy inline fan of this diameter soon weighs several kilos and therefore needs its own suspension point: a wall bracket, a beam, or straps to the tent frame. Such a point has to be thought out, measured and fitted, and it often decides where the rest of your installation ends up.

At this weight it is not needed. The fan can hang between two lengths of ducting, carried by the ducting itself, as long as that rests or is suspended on both sides. It makes the layout flexible: you can move it without dismantling anything.

Two limits. Do not let it hang from one side with the other free, or it pulls the ducting out of line and puts strain on the flange. And do not place it close to a bend, since a fan resting on ducting is exactly what will start vibrating there.

Note that the 305 m³/h here equals what the 20 cm clip fan moves. That is coincidence rather than comparison: this one pushes air through a duct, the clip fan moves air within the room.
