A fixed steel ninety degree bend, to take a duct around a corner without bending the ducting itself. Galvanised steel, 100 to 250 mm.
The hidden restriction in almost every system
Flexible ducting can be bent around a corner, so it gets bent. The problem is that you cannot see the result: from outside the ducting appears to turn a corner, while on the inside of the bend it has concertinaed and the cross section at that point has dropped sharply.
That is the most common cause of a system delivering less than it should, and the hardest to find, because nothing is broken and there is nothing to hear beyond a fan working harder than it needs to.
A rigid bend does not have that problem. Its cross section is fixed and does not change when you fit it. You couple ducting to it at both ends, and that ducting runs straight on from the bend.
Rule of thumb for where to use one: anywhere the ducting has to turn ninety degrees inside roughly half a metre. With more room than that, a wide sweep in the ducting itself is fine and even slightly better.

Frequently asked questions
How much capacity does a 90 degree bend cost?
Less than a kinked hose, and that is the comparison that counts. If the turn can be opened out, that is always better.
Does ducting go over it or into it?
Over the ends, then secured with a worm clamp.
Can I put two together for 180 degrees?
Yes, but put a straight section between them. Two bends back to back disturb the flow more than the sum of the two.
