This filter is called 620, and that is its maximum. Everywhere else in this range the name is the optimum. That is confusing enough to deserve a paragraph, because it directly affects what you size your installation on.

For comparison, optimum first and maximum second: the 160 does 160 and 240, the 360 does 360 and 480, the 800 does 800 and 1150. On all three the name is the optimum. On this model the name is 620 while the optimum is 450.

So work with 450 m³/h. In the terms the rest of the range uses this is a 450 filter, which places it between the 360 and the 800 rather than just below the latter.

The difference is not academic. Above the optimum air still passes, but faster, and the faster air rushes past the carbon the less time there is for molecules to attach. You get more throughput and less filtration, and you notice only by the smell outside.

So always choose a filter on its optimum, and use the maximum only to know how much you can push through in a peak without overloading it.
