The 100 Quietline-K DUO adds two things to the plain Quietline: a second speed and a bracket. That second speed works differently here than on a large fan.

Two speeds at small airflow

On a large fan the low speed exists to save noise and electricity; the gap between 430 and 741 m³/h is wide enough to notice properly. Here it is 75 against 100 m³/h, which is a different kind of choice.

At this level the low speed is mainly for continuous background ventilation: just enough movement to carry off moisture and stale air without you hearing it. The high speed is for when something happens, after a shower, cooking or spraying.

What not to expect here is a fan that is meaningfully cheaper to run on low. At these wattages the difference in consumption is negligible. The gain is in noise and in being able to simply leave it running.

The K in the name denotes the version with a mounting bracket, letting you screw it to a flat surface rather than clamping it inside the duct.
