The 150 VKO with bracket is the largest of the axial range, with a mounting bracket. This range is designed to be operated in a particular way, and on this version that is easiest to arrange.

Switching from a light switch

Vents states that these fans are intended to run from an ordinary room light switch. That switch is not supplied, and that is not an omission but the design assumption: you connect the fan to the existing lighting circuit of the space it ventilates.

In a bathroom or toilet that means: light on, fan on. For a grow space the interesting part is that you can tie it to your light schedule this way, provided your electrical installation allows it and the switching capacity is right.

If you would rather run it independently, simply connect it to its own switch or a timer. And if you want to control speed rather than only on and off, a thyristor speed controller does that.

Have the connection done by someone who knows what they are doing if you are tying it into an existing circuit. On a fan this size that is not a complicated job, but it is still fixed wiring.

Axial impeller, casing and impeller in UV-resistant ABS, maintenance-free motor with overheating protection, IPX4 and rated for continuous duty. The bracket allows mounting on a flat surface, horizontal or vertical. Meant for short runs at low resistance, so not with a carbon filter.
