The NK 160 is the first in this range at 2.4 kW. That brings a practical question the smaller models can still shrug off: what does it draw from your installation?

10.4 amps is a real load

This heater draws 10.4 amps at 230 volts. For comparison: a typical domestic final circuit is protected at 16 amps, and this device is rarely the only thing on it.

So you need to know beforehand what else sits on that circuit. A 10.4 A heater together with lighting, a fan and whatever else the room holds comes close to the limit easily, and then the breaker goes at the moment everything is on at once.

What to do about that is a matter for your electrician rather than a product page: a dedicated circuit, a different distribution, or a check that the existing wiring can take it. The point here is that it is a question to ask before ordering, not after the heater is on the wall.

Consider continuity as well. This is not a device that cuts in briefly like a kettle: a duct heater can draw its full power for hours on end. Wiring and protection have to be rated for that.

The connection should be made by a qualified electrician, following the Vents manual, and arranged so the heater cannot operate without the fan running.
