An electric duct heater for round 200 mm ducting, 2.4 kW in two 1.2 kW elements. Minimum airflow 180 m³/h.
The NK 200 becomes part of the duct itself. Where you place it in your run decides whether it works properly and whether you can still reach it later.
Where in the duct it belongs
The heater goes into ducting of the same diameter as the heater, here 200 mm, and may be horizontal or vertical.
Two things decide the spot. The first is the airflow across the elements, which you want even. Immediately after a sharp bend or straight off a fan the flow is unevenly distributed, so part of the element receives more air than the rest. A straight length of duct before the heater helps.
The second is access, and it is the one usually forgotten. These heaters carry thermal protection, one of which has to be reset by hand after tripping. If the heater is buried above a suspended ceiling or behind a boxed-in shaft, that reset becomes a demolition job.
So plan how you will reach the connection end, and keep that space clear. The same goes for the terminal box: wiring you can never inspect again is a poor idea on a device drawing 10.4 amps.
The heater weighs 3.2 kilos, so support the ducting at that point. A heater hanging off flexible ducting pulls the joint out of line.
Connection
Fixed wiring, 230 V, single phase, 10.4 A. Have it connected by a qualified electrician following the Vents manual, and ensure the heating cannot run without the fan.

Frequently asked questions
Can it sit straight after a bend?
Better not. Flow is unevenly distributed there; a straight length before it is better.
Why do I need access to it?
Because one of the thermal protections has to be reset by hand if it trips.
Can it be vertical?
Yes, horizontal and vertical are both allowed.
Do I need to support the ducting?
Yes. At 3.2 kilos the heater should not hang from the ducting.
