A 100 mm centrifugal duct fan rated 290 m³/h, supplied with a mounting bracket.

The VK 100 is the bare version of the VK range. It is easiest understood by looking at what the other versions add, because that is exactly what is missing here.

What you do not get, and when that is fine

The same VK family comes in versions with a letter after the name. The U carries a control module with a thermostat and speed regulation. The Q has a more calmly running motor. The Duo has two fixed speeds instead of one.

This model has none of that. It runs at one speed and does nothing further on its own.

That is no shortcoming as long as your system does not ask for it. If the fan sits behind a switch you operate yourself, or there is already external control in your installation, the other versions charge you for equipment you have twice over. If on the other hand you want extraction to wind itself back as it cools, this is not the model and you should look at the U.

Hanging it where it suits

A mounting bracket is supplied, and the fan may be fitted at any angle and at any point along the duct. Horizontal, vertical or somewhere between makes no difference.

That sounds like a detail, but it is often where an installation gets stuck. A fan that may only hang horizontally forces you to reroute ducting; this one can go where the duct already runs. It also lets you place it where it stays easiest to reach for maintenance.

The impeller is centrifugal with backward-curved blades, driven by a sealed external rotor motor with long-life bearings and thermal protection in the motor.
