The same tent, tipped over

This is not a tent with an adjustable size but one box you can stand in two directions, and that changes what you do with it.

Upright it is 60 × 60 × 90 cm and takes three growing layers. That is the arrangement for anyone putting away a lot of cuttings or seedlings at once on very little floor.

On its side it is 90 × 60 × 60 cm and takes two layers. That arrangement is lower and wider, and fits where an upright tent cannot: on a worktop, in a cupboard, under a shelf.

So you are not choosing between two products but between two ways of using the same space. Measure the spot first and decide the orientation after.

What it is meant for

Seedlings, cuttings, clones and young plants, and mushrooms besides. That is a different job from an ordinary grow tent, and it explains the layout: plenty of layers, little height per layer.

The shelves are 30 × 60 cm and carry 4.5 kg each. That is enough for propagation trays with a lid, and not for pots of wet soil. Reckon on about five trays, or one plant if you leave the layers out.

For light a propagation bar is plenty. A normal grow light is too heavy and too hot here.

What makes the layout practical
