AC Infinity CLOUDLAB 422 - Advance Grow Tent (60x60x120)

Grow tent measuring 60 × 60 × 120 cm with a 2000D oxford outer canvas, diamond mylar interior and a Ø 22 mm steel frame. The smallest and lowest size in the CLOUDLAB range.

What this size gives you, and what it rules out

The 422 is the only CLOUDLAB that stands 120 cm rather than 180 or 200. That saves money and space, but it is not simply a smaller version of the same tent: three things the larger models have are absent here, and all three are better known in advance.

There is no 200 mm duct port. The 422 has four 100 mm openings and three at 150 mm, so your largest direct connection is 150 mm. The 733 and above do carry 200 mm ports. If you later move to heavier extraction, the limit here is the tent wall rather than the fan.

The viewing window is 25 × 60 cm, against 35 × 120 cm on the largest models. You can see your plants, but you cannot take them in at a glance.

120 cm is your entire vertical budget. Subtract the lamp, the hanging space above it and the height of your pot below. What remains is the room your plant actually has, and it is considerably less than the number on the box suggests.

None of that makes the 422 worse, it makes it specific. For cuttings, mother plants, a short cycle or a cupboard where nothing larger fits, a low tent is exactly right. For a full flowering cycle under a large fixture, the 722 gives you the same floor with 60 cm more height and is the wiser choice.

The frame, and a figure that was wrong for a long time

The frame uses Ø 22 mm steel tubing with a metallic finish, where most grow tents use 18 mm. AC Infinity publishes 113 kg as the beam weight capacity.

That figure applies across all seven CLOUDLAB sizes, from this 422 to the largest 866. The frame has not been scaled down with the tent: the smallest size carries as much overhead as the biggest.

One caution: separate mounting bars are not roof bar replacements. AC Infinity warns about this explicitly. Hang a light or a filter from the roof bars, not from an accessory bar.

Canvas, zips and finish

The outer canvas is 2000D oxford, woven considerably denser than the usual 600D. The interior is cross-patterned diamond mylar, which scatters light rather than mirroring it back. The zips are SBS units with a cover strip over them against light leakage. Supplied with a waterproof spill tray, a detachable tool bag and a steel controller plate with a lightproof cable passthrough.

Frequently asked questions

Will a 200 W fixture fit?
Electrically yes, but height is tight. At 120 cm your lamp, hanger, pot and plant all have to fit. Choose a low-profile fixture and expect a shorter distance to the canopy.

Can I connect 200 mm extraction?
Not directly. The largest port is 150 mm. A reducer will physically work, but it throttles the airflow and gives away the benefit of the larger fan.

How does it differ from the 722?
The same 60 × 60 cm floor, but 180 cm tall instead of 120. Identical ports and identical frame. The difference is headroom, nothing else.
