Choose for the room, not for the plant

Most grow tents are chosen on growing area: how many plants do I want to fit. At this size the logic runs the other way, and that is exactly why it exists.

60 cm deep is the depth of a cupboard. Fitted wardrobes, built-in cupboards and most alcoves sit around that figure. A tent 60 cm deep disappears into one; a tent 90 or 120 cm deep projects into the room and is in the way everywhere.

90 cm wide stays within arm's reach. Your arm covers roughly 60 to 70 cm, so from the front you can get to the back wall and to every corner. You never need to step inside to reach a plant, which spares both your back and your spill tray.

That is not a detail. This tent has a single front door. The 733 and larger add a second door in the side, precisely because you can no longer reach in otherwise. At 90 × 60 cm it is unnecessary, which saves both money and the number of seams light can find.

So choosing between this size and the 722 is not a choice between large and small, but between wide and narrow at equal depth. Both are 60 cm deep and 180 cm tall. The 632 gives you 50% more floor without reaching further into the room.

Frame and load

The frame is Ø 22 mm steel tubing with a metallic finish, where most grow tents use 18 mm. AC Infinity publishes 113 kg as the beam weight capacity, whatever the size.

There are three roof bars. Separate mounting bars are emphatically not a substitute: hang your light and filter from the roof bars.

Canvas and finish

A 2000D oxford outer canvas, considerably denser than the usual 600D, with cross-patterned diamond mylar inside. The zips are SBS units covered by a strip against light leakage; the duct ports cinch from both sides, so ducting clamps light-tight rather than hanging loose in the opening. Supplied with a waterproof spill tray, a detachable tool bag and a steel controller plate with a lightproof cable passthrough.

Will this fit a fitted cupboard?
Measure the depth. The tent is 60 cm deep and 90 cm wide, so it fits a 60 cm cupboard exactly, provided the doors or frame are not in the way.

Can I reach the back corners?
Yes. At 60 cm depth you can reach the back wall from the front, so you never need to step inside to get to a plant.

Is there a side door?
No. One front door. A second door appears from the 733 upward, where the depth exceeds your arm's reach.
