Empty grow cabinet measuring 176 × 118 × 78 cm with roughly 1 m² of growing area and 159 cm of internal height. With sliding doors, six light-tight air inlets, an exhaust flange and mounting points for up to three lights.

Sliding doors are a floor-plan decision

The smaller Bonanza cabinets have a wing door at the front. This one does not: the 1 m² has sliding doors, and at this width that is not a detail but the reason the cabinet fits somewhere or does not.

Follow the arithmetic. The cabinet is 118 cm wide. A wing door opening across that width needs a half-circle in front of nearly 60 cm radius, and with double doors something swings out on both sides. So you have to keep more than half a metre of clear floor in front of it, permanently, including when you are not there.

Sliding doors travel along the front. They take up not one centimetre of floor in front of the cabinet. That lets you put this one in an alcove, close to a facing wall, or beside another cabinet without keeping a walkway free.

So measure not only whether the cabinet fits, but whether it fits including the way it opens. On this version that answer is simple: 118 cm wide is 118 cm wide.

Six inlets and three lights: everything scales

Where the 0.35 models have three air inlets, this has six, in the same light-tight labyrinth form along the bottom of the rear wall. That is necessity rather than luxury: almost three times the growing area needs proportionally more air supply, or your extraction builds negative pressure but cannot draw air through.

The same holds for light. There are mounting points for up to three fixtures against one on the smaller models. On 1 m² that gives you a choice: one large fixture centred, or several smaller ones spread more evenly across the area. That choice does not exist on the 0.35.

Construction

Aluminium profiles with plastic corner pieces and PVC/XPS/PVC sandwich panels. The interior surface is strongly reflective and wipes clean; the panels damp sound and temperature swings. Internally you are left with 159 × 113 × 73 cm.

The cabinet locks with two locks and ships with a spare key.

What you put in it yourself

This is the empty self-build version. Grow lights, extraction, carbon filter and irrigation are yours to choose and are not included. The cabinet is prepared for them with the exhaust mounting flange, the six inlets, the three light mountings and a cable gland.

How much space do I need in front of it?
