Hook length is plant height

Long and short hooks cost the same, so the choice is not about money but about centimetres. The hook decides how far below the roof bar your load hangs, and everything that sits there comes off the room for your plant.

You choose the long hook when you actually need that distance. That comes up with a lamp you want to raise or lower deliberately without changing your whole hanging system, with a filter that would otherwise press against the canvas, or when you hang two things above each other and need to keep them apart.

If you do not need the room, take the short one. In a 180 cm tent every centimetre between roof and canopy counts.

How much weight will it take?
Homebox publishes a maximum for the tent as a whole, not per hook. Spread heavy equipment over several hanging points.

Models with 22 mm poles. The Ambient Q80+ has 16 mm poles.
