When every centimetre counts

The short hook keeps your load as close under the roof bar as possible. That sounds like a detail, but it is the cheapest plant height you can buy.

Count down from the roof what sits between it and your canopy: the hook, the hanging system, the depth of your lamp, and the distance you must keep between lamp and tops. All of it comes off your plant height. A hook that hangs five centimetres shallower gives you five centimetres more plant, every cycle.

In a 220 cm tent you will hardly notice. In a lower tent, or under a lamp that is already deep, it is exactly the margin you were looking for.

Both hooks cost the same, so choose on shape rather than price: short for maximum height, long when you actually need the distance.
