Twelve fabric pots evaporate into your room

A fabric pot loses moisture through its whole side wall, not only the top. That is exactly what makes air-pruning possible, and it is also where that moisture goes: the air in your growing space.

AutoPot themselves note that room humidity can rise when growing with several fabric pots, precisely because of that exposed surface. At twelve pots the total evaporating area is a multiple of a single pot's, and that is enough to shift your RH noticeably.

Why it is worth accounting for

Humidity governs how hard a plant transpires and therefore how much nutrient it takes up, and in flower an over-high RH is also the climate mould prefers. In a greenhouse or outdoors that extra moisture disperses on its own. In a sealed tent or room it does not.

In practice: when sizing extraction or dehumidification, reckon on more moisture released than the same crop in plastic pots, and watch your RH over the first weeks after switching. It is not a problem, but it is a change worth knowing about.

The reverse applies too

In a dry space the same effect works in your favour: the pots give off moisture where it would otherwise be too dry. Whether this helps or hinders depends entirely on where you grow.
