Sixteen plants, each in a 20 litre fabric FlexiPot on its own 1Pot XL tray with its own AQUAvalve5, connected to a 16 mm main line. The water tank is not included; the fitting for it is.

The pipe sets your floor plan

The box holds eight metres of 16 mm main line and sixteen metres of 9 mm branch pipe, split across eight cross connectors each feeding two trays. That is the layout this set is designed around: eight pairs along one continuous line.

Measure that line before the first tray goes down. Eight metres of main line is generous for two rows of eight trays alongside each other, and falls short as soon as you want the sixteen pots in one long row or around a corner. Buying more pipe is no trouble, but it decides whether your layout works first time.

At sixteen pots the tank stands outside the tent

Sixteen trays with a pot on each fill a growing space considerably. Fitting the tank in as well is beyond most rooms, and it does not need to be: the main line runs out under the zip or through a cable port.

Outside, the tank sits cooler and darker, and you can refill without walking between the plants. The height requirement still applies in full. The tank outlet has to sit above the valves even when the tank stands a metre away, so put it on a raised position outside the tent rather than on the floor.

A 16 mm Click-Fit tank adaptor with filter comes with this set. That is the fitting used by the foldable tanks, which are the tanks you want at this size.
