Flexible 3 millimetre drip hose, by the metre. This is the thin line between the T-piece in the supply run and the sensor in the pot.

About a metre, and that is a limit

Given enough pressure this hose covers up to about one metre. Further is not reliable: at the low working pressure of a Blumat installation, resistance in a thin line becomes noticeable and the dripper at the end receives too little.

That is not a detail when setting out, because it decides where the supply hose has to run. If a plant sits a metre and a half from the main, the answer is not longer drip hose but moving the main closer.

Buying by the metre

Useful for one more plant, a repair, or a sensor you are relocating. Per plant you normally use only twenty to sixty centimetres.
