Blumat end piece 8 to 3 MM

The 8-to-3 millimetre end piece sits at the far end of the supply hose and steps down there to 3 millimetre drip hose. So it closes the line and feeds one last plant at the same time.

Why not simply cap it

Because the last plant in the row would otherwise need a T-piece with a stub of line behind it going nowhere. That dead end stays full of standing water, and that is exactly where sediment settles. With this end piece the line runs through to the final sensor and nothing sits still.

Where you meet it

It comes as standard in the Blumat sets, because every installation needs exactly one per run. Split the main into two runs and you need two.
