This Blumat 8 millimetre supply hose is sold here by the single metre, in black. It is for the length you find yourself short of: a repair, one more branch, or the forty centimetres between the tank and your first plant.

Cutting to length is the point

The supply hose is the main line of a Tropf-Blumat installation, running from the tank or tap to the drippers. You cut it with scissors or a sharp knife and insert a T-piece wherever a plant stands. Which is exactly why a single metre is a component rather than an offcut: every extension means cutting again, and you do not want to open a fifty metre roll for two branches.

What to watch

The 8 millimetres is the outer diameter, not the bore. The material is UV-stable and frost-proof, so the line can stay where it is over winter. What it must not do is run buried in soil or inside a wall. Lay it loose, in a cable duct, or on Blumat supports.
