Two tents side by side, a tent plus a separate mother-plant corner, or one room with the tank some way off: in all of those you pass ten metres without approaching fifty. At 25 you keep a workable reserve for a later extension rather than thirty metres sitting on the reel.

White is a visibility choice

The white version has a black inner layer and is therefore exactly as light-tight as the black. Choose white where the line runs against pale walls or reflective material, black where it makes no difference.
