G-tools Grow table 100 x 100cm

The G-tools grow table, 100 by 100 centimetres, lifts your growing surface off the floor to working height. It is built to carry a Danish tray or plant tray of the same size.

Why get off the floor

Three reasons, and you notice the first within a week.

Your back. Tending, pruning, checking and harvesting plants on the floor is done bent or crouched. At table height the same work is done standing. Across a crop of a few months that adds up to hundreds of bends you do not make.

Temperature. A concrete floor draws heat from whatever stands on it, and a cold root zone slows uptake while nothing else is wrong. A table takes your pots or tray off that cold surface.

Working clean. Whatever sits on the floor collects dust, moisture and everything you walk in. A table keeps your growing surface out of that.

What a Danish tray adds

A Danish tray is a ribbed tray sitting on the table that catches what drains from your pots. The profile holds pots just clear of the base so they do not stand in their own runoff, and channels the surplus to one point.

Table plus Danish tray therefore gives you a contained growing surface: everything going down is caught rather than landing on your floor. That is the difference between a room you sweep out and one you simply drain.

One square metre

A hundred by a hundred centimetres takes one Danish tray of the same size, and matches the common 100 by 100 tent footprint. If you need more area, there is a 200 by 100 version.
