This aluminium grow table is the version for the Bonanza 1 m² grow cabinet. It carries the drip tray belonging to that cabinet and lifts your growing surface to working height.

A table that belongs to one cabinet

This is not a universal table but part of a system. Its size matches the drip tray of the 1 m² Bonanza, so that tray is supported across its whole area rather than only at the edges.

That sounds like a detail and is not. A drip tray with water in it resting only on its edges sags in the middle. The water then finds the lowest point instead of the outlet, which is precisely what a drip tray must not do. A table made to size keeps the base flat.

Why get off the cabinet floor

Three things at once. You work at height rather than bent into a cabinet; the growing surface comes clear of a possibly cold floor; and space appears beneath the tray for the tank, pump and connections. In an enclosed cabinet that space is scarce, and a table makes it usable.

Aluminium in a damp environment

Everything in a grow cabinet is permanently in contact with moisture and nutrient solution. Aluminium does not rust, which is why the frame is made of it rather than steel: a frame standing under a drip tray for years has to cope with that.
