Twelve pots in three rows of four, on 130 by 205 centimetres, with 208 litres in the system. The Growrilla Hydroponic system PRO RDWC 12 (3 rows) is the elongated one of the two twelve-pot systems in the PRO range. Growrilla recommends a growing area of 150 by 240 for it.

Three rows or four: follow the shape of your room

There are two twelve-pot versions. They have the same pots, the same water volume and the same pumps. What differs is the shape. This version sets the pots in three rows of four, which makes it long and narrow. The version with four rows of three is almost square, 185 by 145, and belongs in a 200 by 200 space.

Choose the version whose long side runs with the long side of your room. In a room or tent that is clearly longer than it is wide, this layout sits in neatly. The middle row stands about 65 centimetres from the edge of the system, so you reach those plants too without squeezing in between.

Also look at where the door or the tent opening is. In an elongated room it is often on the long side, and then you stand facing the rows and see at a glance whether a plant is falling behind. If the opening is on the short side, put the controller pot at that end, so measuring and topping up is the first thing you come to when you walk in.

The plumbing follows the same layout. Three rows come with an air joint and a return hose for three rows. According to the manual, only the length of the main line to the controller pot differs from the four-row build.

Frequently asked questions

Can I convert to four rows later?
The fittings come apart and go back together, but four rows need different manifolds, a different air joint and a different return hose. Feel free to ask us which parts you need.

Can I change the distance between the pots?
Yes, by sliding the pipes further into or out of the pots. According to the manual, keep at least 3 centimetres of pipe inside each pot, or the seal is at risk.
