Growrilla Hydroponic system PRO RDWC 4

Four pots in two rows of two, on a footprint of 80 by 105 centimetres. That lets the Growrilla Hydroponic system PRO RDWC 4 fill a 120 by 120 tent, just like the four-pot 2.0. The difference is not in the size but in what runs between the pots.

What PRO does differently from the 2.0

Wider pipes. The PRO range connects the pots with 50 millimetre pipes, wider than on the 2.0. Water flows through a wider pipe with less resistance, which lets Growrilla fit a stronger circulation pump without the last pot falling behind.

An adjustable water pump. The pump can be set between 300 and 2000 litres per hour. You decide how fast the solution circulates, and can change that if the system grows later.

A filter in the return line. Root debris and other dirt are caught before they reach the pump. There is a shut-off valve on each side of the filter.

A float valve. You connect a separate reservoir to it, which tops the system up as soon as the level drops. The tank itself is not included.

A venturi elbow in the controller pot. It uses the water flow to draw extra air into the solution, on top of the air stone in every pot.

Which of the two suits you

The pots are the same on both: 19 litres, double-walled, black inside against light and white outside against heat. If you want to try hydro first, or prefer a setup with as few parts as possible, the 2.0 is enough. The PRO is the choice if you want to top up from a tank, want to set the flow yourself, or already know you will expand later on the same pipe size.

Frequently asked questions

Can I mix parts from a 2.0 and a PRO?
Not just like that. The pipes have a different diameter, so the fittings do not match. Stay within one range.

Why is there no power consumption listed?
Growrilla gives this system the same consumption as the four-pot 2.0, even though the pumps are different. That looks wrong, so we leave it out until the manufacturer confirms it.

What tent do I need?
A 120 by 120 centimetre tent. The system takes up 80 by 105 of it, which leaves room at the sides to reach the pots.
