AC Infinity - Hanging Drying Rack 64 60 cm 4-Tier

A hanging drying rack with four chambers and a 60 cm diameter. The same four tiers as the narrow version, with close to twice the area in each one.

More area at no extra length

A 60 cm circle holds over one and a half times the area of a 45.7 cm circle, because area grows with the square of the radius while the diameter rises by only a third. Four chambers at this size therefore take considerably more material than four chambers of the small one.

And it costs you nothing in height. This rack hangs 78.7 cm, exactly the same as the narrow four-chamber version. You gain the extra capacity entirely sideways, in the space a 90 x 90 cm tent or larger has going spare once you decide not to give up any headroom.

Why four tiers rather than six

Most tents leave something below a rack of 78.7 cm. At 180 cm of height, with the hanging point just under the roof, the bottom chamber still sits at working height and you can reach it mid-dry without taking anything down. Move to six or eight chambers and that bottom chamber drops toward the floor, turning the rack into something you work around rather than something you reach into.

That is the trade in one line: four tiers buy you access, more tiers buy you capacity. Anyone who checks and turns material regularly between harvests is happier with four than the capacity difference suggests.

Construction

Flexible steel wire wrapped in non-toxic polyester mesh, chambers roughly 17 cm high (6.75 inches) each with its own zip running the full circumference, and a Velcro loop at the top that closes around a tent bar or pole. A hanging hook is included, along with a carrying bag the rack folds flat into.

Frequently asked questions

How much more does it hold than the 45.7 cm version?
Over one and a half times the area per chamber, at the same chamber count and the same hanging length. AC Infinity publish no weight rating per chamber, so a figure in grams is deliberately absent here.

Will it fit a 60 x 60 cm tent?
No. At 60 cm across it touches the walls. The 45.7 cm version is the one intended for that size.

Can I get at the material while it dries?
Yes, every chamber has its own zip. With four tiers the bottom chamber still hangs at working height in most tents.

Why does it say 23.62 inches rather than simply 24?
Because that is what AC Infinity put on this model's own spec table. Converted it comes to 60.0 cm, the same diameter as the six and eight chamber racks.
