Garden Highpro Prodry Ø 55 cm

The smallest net in the Prodry range: 55 centimetres across, four tiers, 21 centimetres of spacing and an 8 centimetre raised edge around every tier. That edge is the detail you only appreciate once you have used a net without one.

Why a raised edge matters

Fresh material is round and it rolls. On a flat tier with no edge it slides to the side the moment you touch the net, and something always drops over the rim while you are hanging or moving it. The fan is worse still: airflow passing the net lifts light material and blows it off.

Eight centimetres of edge stops that. It sounds like a small thing, but it decides whether everything is still on the tier where you put it at the end of the dry, or whether you are picking it off the floor. On the bottom tier it also matters that nothing drops through.

Four tiers, detachable in pairs

The tiers clip together in pairs and come off the same way. That lets you decide between four tiers at 21 centimetres, or two tiers with twice the headroom. The second is exactly what you want when your material is thicker than average: fewer tiers with enough air beats four full ones with nothing moving between them.

Each tier has its own stabilising strap so the layers do not tilt as you load them. The whole thing folds down and comes with a storage bag.

Size

At 55 centimetres this is the net for a small tent or a corner of a room. It hangs, so it costs no floor space. If you need more, the same design exists at 75 centimetres with six tiers.

Frequently asked questions

Is it four tiers or eight? Four. The Prodry at 55 centimetres has four, the 75 centimetre has six. A different model exists, the Prodry Basic 55/8, which has eight; that is not this article.

Can I remove tiers? Yes, in pairs. Useful when your material is thicker and you want more headroom above each tier.

What is the edge for? It keeps material on the tier: while moving it, and above all when there is a fan nearby.

Will it fit a small tent? Fifty-five centimetres fits most tents from 60 by 60 up. Just make sure the net can hang free.
