Where 30 centimetres earns its keep

Most drying nets sit at 20 to 21 centimetres. That works fine for loose, trimmed material in a thin layer. It does not work for whole branches, and it does not work when your material runs thick: the top then touches the tier above, the air stops moving there, and that section dries unevenly.

With 30 centimetres you can load considerably fuller without that problem, and you can fit material that simply will not go in a tighter net. You notice it while loading, too: there is room to move your hand between the tiers instead of pushing material in and damaging it on the way.

Raised edge and tiers in pairs

Every tier has an upright edge that keeps material on the drying surface, so nothing rolls off while you move it or when a fan passes. The tiers detach in pairs, so you can bring the net down to four or two tiers when you have less to dry. That saves height, which in a low room is the difference between fitting and not fitting.

Hanging and storage

It hangs from the integrated straps at the top, on tent bars or any other solid support. At 185 centimetres, mind your working height: hang it so you can reach the bottom tier without stooping and the top one without stretching.

Folded it is roughly 35 centimetres across and 6 centimetres thick, and a storage bag is included. Folding takes a little practice; take your time the first time and follow the rings.
