The IONFRAME EVO8 is the heaviest model in this range: 730 watts and 2688 Samsung LM301H EVO diodes, built for a 150 × 150 cm growing area. The driver detaches, and the supplied schedule panel handles ten levels plus sunrise and sunset.

One schedule across all your fixtures

In a 150 × 150 cm tent you hang one, which makes daisy chaining sound like something for later. It is nevertheless what separates this model from a single lamp on a plug timer: you can link up to eighty fixtures in a row, and every one of them then follows the same schedule.

Why that matters only shows up once you run two or more. Give each lamp its own timer and within a few weeks they drift apart. They stop switching at quite the same moment, and after a power cut they are not aligned at all. For a crop that responds to day length this is no detail, because one half of your room then gets a different day from the other half.

Linked together, that problem disappears. A single panel sets on, off and brightness for the whole row, and the gradual sunrise and sunset run in step everywhere. If you also want to reach it from your phone, put a UIS controller in front and the rest of the setup stays as it is. The splitters you need for linking are sold separately.

Do I need anything extra to link two lamps?
Yes, one splitter per link. It does not come with the lamp and is sold separately.

Does the sunrise setting work on linked lamps too?
It does. The panel drives the whole row, so every fixture ramps up and down together.

Can I use one EVO8 instead of two smaller fixtures?
For a square 150 × 150 cm space that is exactly what this model was built for. In a long room several smaller fixtures give you a more even field.

Why is coverage given as 150 × 150 cm and not larger?
That is the size we recommend it for in flower. AC Infinity also quotes a wider figure for the vegetative stage, but we stay with the flowering size because that is what you buy your tent for.
