A metal carabiner around a metal tent pole is a joint that disappoints twice. It slides, because nothing gives it grip, so a filter hanging heavier at one end slowly walks toward the middle of the bar. And it rings, because a spinning fan puts its vibration straight into the frame and the whole frame hums along.

These cuffs solve both simply by sitting in between. The rubber grips the bar instead of sliding around it, so the hook stays where you hang it. And rubber absorbs vibration rather than passing it on, which in a quiet growing space at night is the difference between audible and not.

As a side benefit your frame stays tidy: metal on metal wears the coating off the bars, and that is where a tent frame starts to rust. So they are not there to carry more weight, which is your hanger's job, but to make the joint you already have work better.
