The XL is in the hook, not in the load rating

It is natural to assume the XL carries more weight than the ordinary Prohanger. It does not: both are rated 68 kilos per set, that is 34 kilos per hanger. Anyone after a stronger system will not find it here.

What is larger is the carabiner, and that is a real problem people discover once the package is open. Tent poles vary a lot in thickness: a light hobby tent has thin bars, while a sturdy frame or a reinforced 150 by 150 tent uses tubing an ordinary carabiner will not close around. A mounting rail or beam is often too thick as well.

So measure your bar before choosing. If a normal hook closes around it, the XL buys you nothing extra. If it does not, this is the version you need, and the load rating has simply stayed the same.
