The Spectrabox UFO 150W sits between the 100 and the 200 watt, lighting an area of 80 by 80 centimetres in flower. Passively cooled, IP66, with a Sosen driver.
The lens sets the area, and there are two of them
On most grow lights the shape of the light field is fixed: it follows from the size of the fixture and the angle of the diodes, and nothing can be done about it. A UFO is a round plate with its diodes close together, so it cannot steer light by shape. The lens does that.
A 120 degree lens is fitted as standard. It spreads wide: the light fans out generously, fills the corners of a square area and falls fairly softly. For an 80 by 80 tent with the lamp at normal height that is exactly right.
There is also a 90 degree version. The same 150 watts then passes through a narrower cone: the lit area shrinks, but what sits under it receives more per square metre and the light drives deeper into the crop. That matters if you have to hang higher than you would like, or if you would rather fill a narrow area properly than cover a wide one indifferently.
So the choice is not about more or less light, since the photon count does not change. It is about where you put them. Wide and soft across a square area, or narrow and hard onto a smaller one. Know that beforehand and you pick the lens to suit the tent, not the tent to suit the lens.

Frequently asked questions
Which lens should I have?
For a square 80 by 80 tent, the standard 120 degrees. The 90 degree suits a narrower area or a greater hanging height.
Does the 90 degree lens give more light?
No, the same amount. It simply lays it onto a smaller area, so there is more per square metre.
Is the area the same during vegetative growth?
No, in veg the same lamp at full power lights a noticeably larger area than in flower.
Is the dimmer included?
No, you choose it separately. The lamp is ready for 0 to 10 volt control.
