Comparing when the manufacturer publishes no output

With an LED grow light you really want two numbers: how much light it makes in micromoles per second, and what that costs in micromoles per joule. Viparspectra does not publish those for the P range in a way we are willing to build on, because the figures they quote in different places do not agree with one another. So we do not repeat them.

That makes comparison harder rather than impossible. Four things you can still set side by side. The stated draw in watts, here 200. The size of the fixture against the size of your tent, because a 120 cm panel belongs above a 120 cm tent. Whether there is a dimmer, which lets you turn a lamp down but never further up than it is. And the warranty term.

What you should not lean on is a comparison against an HPS lamp. Such claims rarely use a consistent method, cannot be checked anywhere, and differ between sellers for the very same fixture. A figure in watts is dull and correct, which is worth more when choosing a lamp.
