AC Infinity Controller AI+

A touchscreen climate controller driving up to eight devices, expandable to thirty-two with splitter hubs. Reads temperature, humidity and VPD, over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The Controller AI+ is the centre of AC Infinity's UIS platform. Fans, lighting and humidifiers connect straight to it, and the app gives you graphs, alerts and the current state of things.

What the AI actually does

Artificial intelligence on a climate controller sounds larger than it is, so it is worth naming exactly what happens. There is no language model in it and the device does not invent a growing strategy. What it does do is recognise patterns.

An ordinary controller is reactive: it measures, sees the temperature is too high, and speeds your extraction up. So it is always behind events, and the slower your room responds, the further behind it gets.

This controller analyses the pattern over time. It learns that your room starts warming at the same point after lights-on each day, and that extraction then takes half an hour to catch up. Knowing that, it can start earlier rather than reacting once it is already too warm.

The result is fewer extremes. Your climate stays closer to your target instead of moving around it in waves, which is exactly what a crop prefers.

What stays yours: setting your targets, hanging your sensors properly, and judging whether your plants agree. The controller executes what you set, just better timed.

What else it takes

Alongside the climate probe supplied, there are separate sensors for soil moisture and for CO2 with light measurement. With those you drive not only ventilation but watering and fresh air exchange on measured values.

Key settings live in the controller's own memory, so a temporary loss of internet does not stop your control.

The AI Climate Sensor, model AC-SPC24. Note that the sensor for the Controller 69 Pro does not fit this one.

Does it work without internet?
Yes. Your settings live in the controller itself; the connection is for remote control and insight.

Can I connect other brands?
Through UIS adapters, yes. Without an adapter the platform is intended for AC Infinity equipment.

What is the difference from the Controller 69 Pro?
More devices, a larger touchscreen and the learning control. The 69 Pro drives four independently and costs considerably less.
