AC Infinity UIS Right-Angle Extension Cable

A 3 metre UIS extension cable with a right-angle L-connector, so you can connect where a straight plug will not fit.

The cable has an ordinary UIS plug on one end and a UIS L-connector on the other. Total length 304.8 cm.

What the right-angle plug is for

A straight UIS plug projects directly out of the device. That is fine where there is room behind it, and a problem where there is not.

Where it pinches:

• A device sitting against the tent wall. The plug pushes into the fabric and the cable makes a sharp bend exactly where it is most vulnerable.
• A fan in a tight recess or between frame and wall, where the few centimetres a straight plug needs simply are not there.
• A controller behind your tent, where you want the cable to run down the wall rather than jut forwards first.

With the L-connector the cable runs away alongside the device instead of projecting from it. That saves space and keeps strain off the connection, which protects your device's socket.

Note for the Controller AI+

This is the most important thing to know before ordering, because it is not printed on the cable.

This right-angle cable works fully with the Controller 69 Pro, the 69 Pro+ and the Controller 63. With the Controller AI+ it also works, but without some of the device identification and advanced functions. Think of controls specific to one device, such as oscillation on a clip fan.

If you have an AI+ and want those functions, choose a straight UIS cable instead. On a 69 Pro or 63 it makes no difference, and the right-angle version simply buys you space.

Why would I avoid a right-angle cable with an AI+?
Because you lose some device-specific functions. If your device is not tight against anything, choose a straight cable.

Which end is the right angle?
One end is an ordinary UIS plug, the other is the L-connector. Put the angled end on whichever device is tight for space.

Can I chain it with a second cable?
You can, but keep the total limited. The longer the run, the more scope for signal loss.

Does it fit other brands' devices?
No, this is a UIS connection. For other brands' lighting there are separate UIS Lighting Adapters.
