A four-port hub for connecting several devices to a single port on your UIS controller.

Four devices, and the condition attached

A controller has a limited number of ports. The Controller 69 Pro drives four independently, the AI+ eight. To connect more devices than your ports allow, a splitter hub is the answer.

There is one condition, and it decides whether this works for you: everything on one hub shares that port's programming. They receive the same command at the same moment.

That is not a limitation but exactly the point as soon as you have devices that should run in step anyway:

• Four identical circulation fans in the same room, which you would never set separately.
• Several LED lamps over the same crop, which should dim together and switch together.
• Two extraction fans working together on the same room.

What it is not for: devices that need to respond differently. Putting your intake and extraction on one hub means they always do the same thing, and then you cannot set negative pressure. Those belong on separate ports.

So the rule of thumb is: put devices on one hub that you would have set identically anyway. Anything needing its own behaviour gets its own port.

Frequently asked questions

Can I set the four devices separately?
No. They share the programming of the port the hub is on. For independent settings you need separate ports.

Does it work with the Controller 69 Pro?
It belongs to the UIS platform. Bear in mind the 69 Pro has four ports, so you increase the number of devices, not the number of independent controls.

Does it need its own power?
It splits one port's connection. Your devices remain connected to the mains as they already were.
