Measure how much feed is in your substrate, directly in the pot. With a probe electrode on a cable.

The Aqua Master Tools E300 Pro2 measures EC and temperature in soft, moist substrates and in liquids. It shows you whether nutrient salts are building up in your coco, rockwool or soil, something your nutrient solution won't tell you.

Why measure EC in the pot?

You feed at a certain EC, but the plant doesn't take up everything. What's left can build up in the substrate. If you measure a much higher EC there than in your nutrient solution, it's time to flush or feed less. The E300 Pro2 shows you this without having to collect runoff.

Frequently asked questions

Can I measure my nutrient solution with it too?
Yes, the E300 Pro2 also measures in liquids.

Does it measure pH?
No. For pH in substrate there's the S300 Pro3, or the H600 Pro substrate meter which measures both.

Can I buy the electrode separately?
Yes, we stock the EC substrate electrode with small pin (AMT1036) separately.
