EC 12.88 (12.88 mS/cm) is a calibration value for the high range, for example when you measure concentrates or very strong solutions. The P700 Pro 2 can calibrate at this value.

How to calibrate well

Pour a little solution into a clean cup and calibrate in that, not in the bottle. Let the meter reach the solution's temperature: EC depends strongly on temperature, and the value on the label applies at 25 °C. Throw used solution away and never pour it back into the bottle. Close the bottle straight after use.
